United Synagogue Youth

USY is United Synagogue Youth, a youth group for Conservative Jewish teens in high school. On the Livingston chapter level, USY has tons to offer. LUSY (Livingston USY) has fun events throughout the year incorporating Israel, Religious Education, and Social Action/Tikun Olam. Also, teens can meet other Jewish teens and make friends that last a lifetime. Not only that, but most Livingston USY events are free!

The regional level of USY, Hagalil, which is divided into 38 chapters, allows teens to meet other Jewish teens from all over northern New Jersey. There are frequent dances and several awesome conventions including a week-long encampment at the end of summer.

On the international level, USY offers programs in the summer such as USY on Wheels and Israel Pilgrimage. In addition, International USY has a week-long convention every December in a different location around the country.
