Preschool: Sparking Curiosity, Building Foundations

Beginning with our Two’s in Training class and continuing through our dynamic Pre-K 4’s program, TBS Preschool offers a continuous, joyful learning journey. We nurture the whole child—socially, emotionally, and academically—at every age and stage.

Our highly trained educators know that learning through play is incredibly powerful. Through guided center times and a rich thematic curriculum, each day builds naturally on the last, giving children the freedom to explore, experiment, and thrive.

Connected Learning: Our Spiraled Approach

To ensure a seamless transition from year to year, TBS utilizes a spiraled curriculum. Our teaching teams collaborate closely across age groups, building on the skills mastered in previous years while preparing children for the milestones ahead. This creates a continuous, confident educational pathway where no step feels daunting.

  • Hands-On Literacy: We introduce the research-backed Handwriting Without Tears program in our 3’s classrooms, laying the groundwork for print awareness and fine-motor control.
  • Pre-K Reading Foundations: In our Pre-K 4’s, we build directly on that foundation by introducing Fundations, supporting early literacy, phonemic awareness, and phonics development to prepare students for elementary school success.

Our Progressive Classrooms

  • Two’s in Training (18–24 Months): The perfect bridge between toddlerhood and structured preschool! This program builds on our toddler room with elevated learning centers and richer hands-on activities, gently guiding children into classroom routines. 
  • Two’s Program (2 Years Old by Oct 1): Fostering growing independence, early self-help skills, and positive peer interactions as children master group dynamics and cooperative play. 
  • Three’s Program (3 Years Old by Oct 1): Expanding vocabulary, problem-solving, and fine-motor control while introducing formal literacy concepts like Handwriting Without Tears.
  • Pre-K 4’s (4 Years Old by Oct 1): Cultivating critical thinking, early reading (Fundations), and strong social-emotional resilience—ensuring every child graduates confident and fully ready for Kindergarten.
