Teen Leadership
Jewish Communal Leadership
Our Jewish Communal Teen Leadership program is an opportunity for 11th and 12th-grade students (over a two-year period) to learn about the greater Jewish community and issues impacting Israel, as well as participate in Jewish service-learning. Past sessions have included:
- Choosing a Jewish college.
- Israel Advocacy for teens.
- Why Areyvut? The responsibility of Jews to do Jewish justice work.
Past service-learning experiences have included:
- Packing food for homebound seniors.
- Conducting an interfaith MLK Day service with Convenant House in Newark.
- Participating in JSERVE with JTeen MetroWest.
